The deadline has passed for the December Small Business Grants competition and our team at SmallBusiness.co.uk have narrowed down the entries to a shortlist of six. These are:
LŌTOS
This lot specialise in vegan and vegetarian savoury dips in table-ready and eco-friendly terracotta pots to help tackle plastic waste.
Bundlee
Bundlee is the UK’s first baby rental clothing subscription, or as they like to describe themselves, ‘a revolving wardrobe of baby clothes’.
This service allows parents to rent bundles of baby clothes and return them in exchange for the next size up when their child has outgrown them.
Bilbo’s Pet Spa Limited
The company started as a pet hydrotherapy service and has since grown to provide pet grooming and doggy day care.
Hunter & Gather
Hunter & Gather sell food that is free from sugar, grains and poor-quality fats – including the UK and Europe’s first avocado oil mayonnaise.
RedDoor Publishing
RedDoor is a hybrid publisher for authors who often miss out on traditional deals in the UK publishing industry.
The Naked Interior
The Naked Interior is an online store run by a husband and wife team, selling non-toxic home furnishings like organic bedding and towels, items for a zero-waste lifestyle and vintage furnishings.
They want to see an end to toxic chemicals in the home, having seen so much in their previous careers as cabinet maker and interior designer.
Congratulations to our shortlisted companies for December! Keep an eye out here and on SmallBusiness.co.uk for the announcement of the winner.
